Baden-Württemberg International is the center of competence for the internationalisation of business and science of the State of Baden-Württemberg, the German Southwest.
Our main objectives are:
- Strengthening contacts between foreign and local companies, universities and research institutions
- Supporting the endeavours of Baden-Württemberg companies, universities and research institutions to enter foreign markets
- Positioning Baden-Württemberg as an excellent location for business and science in order to encourage foreign capital investment, the settlement of new companies as well as the recruitment of specialist employees.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry Karlsruhe
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) Karlsruhe represents the interests of its approximately 65.000 member companies with respect to the government and authorities, local authorities and public institutions. A few specific examples: the IHK is dedicated to a better infrastructure, helps businesses with local project planning and with international business development, is dedicated to the Karlsruhe technology region, stands for better general economic conditions, organises technology communication from science to the economy.
